Never acted before, but always wanted to?
Auditioning is a great learning experience - you'll see the process, see how other actors create a character, and even if you're not cast this time, you'll be more experienced for the next.
At MTG, acrors are chosen on the basis of a "cold reading" of the script, so don't worry about preparing an "audition piece."
Auditions are generally held on the first Monday following the opening of a show, but circumstances can change that. Auditions for Neil Simon's "Last of the Red Hot Lovers" are tentatively schedulked for Monday, September 20. To be certain, check back after Labor Day.
